A scientist, a showman, a vaccine and a quarantine.
A brilliant but brusque surgeon is drawn out hiding when his only son discovers cases of Yellow Fever in their rickety pioneer town in the Old West. Dr Rossdale diagnoses this dreaded disease, secretly insists on a quarantine and begins work on a live attenuated vaccine.
The shotgun quarantine traps in a travelling Medical Showman who, in desperation, blames the gruff Doctor for keeping secrets.
A deadly rivalry ensues between polarizing men of medicine, that pushes both doctors deeper into discovery about the disease and offers a final chance to save the petri-dish town.
Developed from an acclaimed short film by writer / director Guy Malim. A wonderful cast led by James Le Gros and Allan Corduner; with Austin Abrams, Darby Stanchfield, Sean Hatosy and Nestor Carbonell.

Director’s statement
It was my intention to make a timely film that tackles the anxiety surrounding vaccines and the ethics of quarantines, whilst championing pioneering doctors.
Now we are releasing the film during a global pandemic; I hope that this tragedy brings forth a true realization that healthcare is social. The health of our neighbor affects the health of our children.
